# Real Estate Title & Closing Specialist (Legal Background Preferred) We are a growing real estate settlement and title company seeking a detail-oriented, dependable professional to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in real estate law, title, or a legal support role who is eager to learn and grow. We are willing to train the right candidate, but strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are essential. ## Responsibilities * Review title searches and identify potential title issues * Conduct chain of title reviews and analyze ownership history * Draft, review, and revise deeds and other real estate documents * Communicate title defects and underwriting issues clearly and professionally * Work directly with underwriters to resolve title matters * Review legal descriptions and supporting documentation for accuracy * Maintain organized files and document management * Meet deadlines while managing multiple files simultaneously * Perform other title and closing-related tasks as assigned ## Qualifications * Legal background strongly preferred (paralegal, legal assistant, law degree, or experience in real estate law) * Experience in title, escrow, or real estate transactions is a plus * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Exceptional attention to detail * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Highly organized with outstanding time management skills * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Responsive and reliable during business hours * Comfortable learning new software and processes * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) ## Availability Because our team operates on U.S. Eastern Time, applicants must have at least **4–5 hours of overlap with our normal business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time)**. We understand many applicants will be located in different time zones, but timely communication and responsiveness during our business day are essential. ## Training & Long-Term Opportunity We will initially hire several candidates for a paid training period. During training, everyone will receive the same instruction and assignments.
