Real Estate Market Data Refresh + Slide Design for Fund Presentation (~10 slides)
Worldwide
PROJECT OVERVIEW We're a real estate investment firm seeking an experienced freelancer (or small team) who does two things equally well: (1) sources and updates commercial real estate / multifamily market data, and (2) lays that data into a polished, institutional-quality slide deck that matches our existing design. This is a defined, near-term project, with potential for recurring quarterly/annual updates. THE WORK Our fund presentation has a ~10-slide market-trends section whose data is currently as of Q1 2025. We need every figure and chart on those slides refreshed to the most current data available, while preserving the existing layout, fonts, colors, and chart styles exactly. The section spans national and market-level CRE / multifamily trends, including: - Multifamily risk-adjusted returns - U.S. housing supply / shortage and new-construction trends - Rent growth, completions, and absorption outlook - Own-vs-rent affordability - Multifamily debt maturities by lender type - Sunbelt and Texas-market population, employment, and migration trends - Market-level rent comparisons You'd pull current figures from credible, citable sources (e.g., NCREIF, JLL, RealPage, U.S. Census, Freddie Mac, FRED, Trepp, Moody's, Clarion, Green Street, John Burns, or comparable), update each chart and table, and footnote the source for every figure. SOURCING & ACCURACY (IMPORTANT TO US) Every number must be traceable to a named, citable source — our team verifies the figures on our end, so a clear source note on each chart and table is required, not optional. Please be prepared to show where each figure comes from. YOU'RE A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE - A proven track record on Upwork — experienced, with strong ratings and client reviews (Top Rated or Rising Talent a plus) - Demonstrated commercial real estate / multifamily market research experience — you know where this data lives and how to source it accurately - Strong data and charting skills for cleanly rebuilding and updating charts and tables - High-end presentation design ability (PowerPoint especially) and a track record of matching an existing template precisely - Sharp attention to detail, accuracy, and proper source citations - Bonus: experience with institutional or private-equity fund pitchbooks DELIVERABLES - The ~10 slides, updated with current data and refreshed charts, matching our existing design - A source citation/footnote for every updated figure - Editable native/source files IMPORTANT - This is confidential fund material — we'll ask you to sign an NDA before sharing the deck. - Please share relevant samples of both sides of the work: a market-data/research example and a polished deck example. The combination is what matters most to us. - In your proposal, include your all-in price and estimated turnaround for a ~10-slide refresh. TO APPLY Briefly describe how you'd approach sourcing and updating this kind of market data while matching an existing design, and include samples that show both the data and the design sides of your work.
