Real Estate Photo Editor — Ongoing, Per-Photo Pay (Color Consistency Is the Job)

# Real Estate Photo Editor — Ongoing, Per-Photo Pay (Color Consistency Is the Job) ## About the work We shoot interior photos of residential units and need an editor who can deliver bright, inviting, color-accurate images that stay consistent across an entire shoot. This is ongoing work, not a one-off project. Here's the part that matters most, so read it carefully: **color consistency across photos of the same room is our #1 acceptance criterion.** For every shoot, we provide a contractor's guide and a mood board from our design team with exact color swatches — wall colors, accent walls, the works. If the living room wall is white in photo 2, it needs to be the same white in photo 7. If the swatch says a specific green, the green matches the swatch in every frame — not too saturated in one shot and crushed to black in another because of HDR blending artifacts. We've worked with editors who produced beautiful individual photos that didn't match each other. That's what we're hiring away from. ## What you'll do - Edit HDR-blended interior photos: exposure, white balance, window pulls, vertical corrections, and general cleanup - Match wall and accent colors to the provided swatches in the contractor's guide and mood board — every photo, every time - Run a consistency pass before delivery: check every photo of the same room against the anchor swatch. Batches with mismatched rooms will be sent back for revision - Turn around revisions quickly and accurately — if we flag a color, the fix comes back right the first time ## Volume and pay - **Per-photo pricing.** Propose your per-photo rate in your application - Volume varies: our baseline is 4–5 shoots per month (roughly 50–80 photos each), busier months hit 10 shoots, and some days we'll send 2–3 shoots at once while other days are quiet - Tell us your realistic max capacity per week at full quality. We'd rather plan around your honest ceiling than discover it through declining quality - Standard turnaround target is 48 hours per shoot from delivery of RAW/brackets ## Requirements - 2+ years editing real estate / interior photography, with a portfolio showing full shoots (not just hero shots) so we can see consistency across a set - Strong HDR blending skills and experience matching colors to a reference - Lightroom + Photoshop (or equivalent workflow you can defend) - Responsive communication — you'll hear from us with specific, swatch-referenced feedback, and we expect fixes to land accurately ## How hiring will work 1. **Paid test (3–5 photos):** We'll send a handful of our hardest photos with the contractor's guide, paid as a small milestone at your per-photo rate. 2. **Paid trial (1 full shoot):** If the test looks good, we'll pay you to edit a complete shoot against the mood board, including a revision round. We're evaluating both the edit and how you handle feedback. 3. **Ongoing work** for the editor who nails both. ## To apply Start your proposal with the word "SWATCH" so we know you read this. Include: 1. Your per-photo rate 2. A link to 1–2 complete interior shoots you've edited (full sets, not singles) 3. One or two sentences on how you keep colors consistent across a large batch — what's your actual process? 4. Your max weekly capacity and typical turnaround time
