Real Estate Research & Data Collection Specialist (40 hours)

I'm looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented researcher to help me build a comprehensive database of home builders and new construction communities. This is a project-based position estimated at 40 hours, with the potential for additional work if it's a good fit. What You'll Be Doing You'll research home builders and their communities, then organize the information into a structured spreadsheet. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Responsibilities include: - Researching home builders and new construction communities. - Gathering information from builder websites and other reliable online sources. - Entering data into a provided spreadsheet using a consistent format. - Verifying information for accuracy before submission. - Updating missing or outdated information when necessary. - Following detailed instructions and maintaining organized records. - Information You'll Be Collecting (Examples) Depending on the builder, you'll be gathering information such as: Builder name Community name City and county Zip Codes Community address Price range Available floor plans HOA fees CDD fees School zoning Amenities Square footage Bedrooms/Bathrooms Model homes Website links Contact information Any additional data requested in the spreadsheet (Not every builder will have every piece of information, but you'll be expected to collect as much accurate information as possible.) Qualifications I'm looking for someone who is: Extremely detail-oriented Comfortable conducting online research Experienced with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel Able to follow instructions carefully Reliable and communicative Able to identify inconsistencies and verify information Fluent in written English Experience with real estate or new construction research is a plus but not required.
