Record First-Person (POV) Videos for an AI & Robotics Project

We're building a video data project for AI and robotics research, and we're now opening it to contributors in select countries. You'll record short first-person videos of everyday tasks that help teach AI systems and robots how people naturally move and handle objects in the real world. No prior experience is needed. Who can apply * Contributors based in USA (except Illinois, Washington and Texas), Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, or Argentina. What you'll do * Wear your phone on a head strap so the camera captures your point of view * Record yourself doing everyday household activities like cleaning, washing dishes, tidying up, and sorting items * Follow our simple recording guidelines and upload your raw footage through our platform What makes good footage * Keep both hands visible in the frame while you work * Record in a well-lit space * Move naturally * Video only, with no audio at any point Time commitment * This project requires a minimum of 20 hours of recorded footage to be completed You can record it across as many sessions as you like, on your own schedule What you'll need * A recent smartphone with a good camera: at least an iPhone 11 or newer (not the 16e or 17e), Google Pixel 6 (or newer), or Samsung Galaxy S21 (or newer) * A head strap to hold your phone * A steady internet connection for uploading Send us a message to get started and we'll share the full onboarding details and recording guide.
