Recovery Community Liaison

Job Description & Statement of Work (SOW) Position: Recovery Community Liaison (1099 or Part-Time) Reports To: Program Director or Executive Director Position Summary The Recovery Community Liaison develops and maintains partnerships with community organizations, coordinates educational speakers and resource fairs, and expands recoveryoriented services available to Avaris Residential Program clients. Key Responsibilities • Recruit and schedule 2–4 guest speakers per month. • Maintain a directory of community resources and referral partners. • Coordinate logistics for on-site educational sessions. • Develop a 12-month client education calendar. • Maintain attendance rosters and presentation records. • Distribute educational materials and resource information. • Identify employment, housing, legal, healthcare, and recovery partners. • Promote collaboration with hospitals, nonprofits, colleges, and government agencies. • Collect client feedback after sessions. • Provide monthly activity reports to leadership. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. • Experience in behavioral health, recovery services, outreach, or community engagement. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Knowledge of Baltimore-area community resources preferred. Statement of Work (SOW) Scope: Provide outreach and coordination services supporting client education and community engagement. Deliverables • 12-month speaker calendar maintained. • At least 2 educational sessions scheduled monthly. • At least 1 new community partnership established monthly. • Updated community resource directory. • Monthly report summarizing sessions, attendance, and outcomes.
