HR Recruiter - Resume screening and interviewing.
Worldwide
THE ROLE As a Recruiter, you'll own the top of the hiring funnel. You'll be the first point of contact for most candidates - sourcing them, screening their resumes, getting them scheduled, running the initial interview, and making the call on whether they move forward. You're the filter and the front door: the quality and speed of everything downstream depends on you. This is a high-volume, high-communication role for someone who's organized, persistent, and a strong judge of people. You'll work closely with our hiring managers to keep the pipeline moving and make sure no good candidate slips through the cracks. WHAT YOU'LL DO Review resumes and applications (1-2 hours per week): Screen incoming candidates against our criteria and advance qualified people into the hiring pipeline. Get candidates on the calendar (1-2 hours per week): Call, text, and email candidates to book them into an initial screening interview - and follow up consistently so they actually show up. Run the initial screen (4-8 hours per week): Conduct 15-minute Zoom screening interviews to assess communication, experience, and basic fit. Give clear feedback and a recommendation (1-2 hours per week): After each screen, write up structured feedback and make a call: advance to the next interview or pass. Source proactively (1-3 hours per week): Hunt for strong candidates on Indeed, Facebook Groups, and other platforms, and invite them to apply to our open roles. YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF You're an excellent communicator: You're comfortable and personable on the phone, on camera, and in writing. Candidates feel good after talking to you. You're highly organized: You can juggle dozens of candidates at different stages without losing track of anyone or letting follow-ups slip. You have good judgment about people: You can quickly read whether someone is a fit and explain why - not just go with a gut feeling. You're persistent: You don't give up after one unanswered text. You follow up, keep candidates warm, and drive them to the next step. You can work independently: You can run your day and hit your numbers without someone looking over your shoulder. NICE-TO-HAVES Experience interviewing and screening candidates for remote roles Familiarity with Indeed's employer tools and applicant tracking systems Prior experience sourcing candidates, including sourcing on social platforms Exposure to the HVAC or home services industry, or to field service management software such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE In your first 90 days, you'll be running initial screens independently, keeping the pipeline consistently full, and giving hiring managers feedback they can trust to make fast decisions. The clearest sign you're doing the job well: our hiring managers spend their time on strong, well-qualified candidates - because you've already filtered out the rest.
