Job Title: Freelance Healthcare Recruiter - Home Care Caregivers and Nurse Supervisors Overview: BrightSouls is seeking a freelance recruiter to help build a caregiver and nurse supervisor candidate pipeline for home- and community-based care programs in Alabama. This is a sourcing, screening, and scheduling role only. BrightSouls will make all hiring decisions, complete compliance checks, and manage onboarding. Initial Hiring Targets: - 20 - 35 ready caregivers across the launch pipeline - 1 - 3 nurse supervisor candidates hired or ready for onboarding What You Will Do: - Source caregivers and nurse supervisor candidates in target Alabama counties and nearby communities - Screen for availability, location, transportation, experience, willingness to complete background checks/TB testing, and readiness to start - Maintain a candidate tracker with status, location, availability, contact attempts, screening notes, and next action - Schedule interviews/orientation slots with BrightSouls - Provide a weekly recruiting report with leads, screens, submitted candidates, scheduled interviews, and hires by county/pod Desired Experience: Recruiting experience for caregivers, CNAs, home care aides, direct support professionals, home health, healthcare staffing, or similar hourly workforce roles. Strong communication and follow-up skills required. Important Compliance Note: This role does not involve client care, service delivery, client contact, or access to client PHI. The freelancer will only receive high-level recruiting needs by county/city and role type.
