Automo is an AI-native business operating system that replaces an entire software stack — CRM, ERP, accounting, POS, marketing and 40+ products — for over 12,000 businesses worldwide. We're hiring a hands-on HR, recruitment and compliance expert to own and improve our people products: HR & HRIS, Payroll, Applicant Tracking & Recruitment, Compliance & Audit, and eSignature. Important: this is NOT a coding role. Automo is built with a no-code, plain-English development process, so we need deep domain expertise, not engineering skills. You'll think like the HR leader, recruiter or compliance officer who uses these tools every day — stress-test our people modules, spot gaps versus platforms like BambooHR, Workday, Greenhouse and Rippling, enhance existing workflows, and propose new integrations to our core platform. What you'll do: - Audit and improve our HR, payroll, recruitment, compliance and eSignature products - Identify missing features and friction points versus tools you know well (BambooHR, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.) - Propose and help design new integrations and workflows using our no-code English-language builder - Act as the voice of the HR and recruitment team for these product areas You'll be a great fit if you: - Have run HR, recruitment or compliance operations in a real business - Know HRIS, ATS and payroll tools inside out - Understand onboarding, employee records, payroll, audit trails and compliance in practice - Can clearly articulate how software should behave for HR and people teams - Are comfortable working in a no-code environment and improving products without writing code To start: hourly contract, flexible hours, with scope to grow as you prove impact.
