Recruitment Coordinator / Talent Acquisition Support Specialist (Construction & Infrastructure) About Us CDI Experts Vancouver is the Canadian arm of CDI Experts, an international project advisory consultancy specializing in construction claims, dispute avoidance, project controls, commercial management, project governance, scheduling, cost management, and expert advisory services. We support clients across mining, infrastructure, energy, utilities, industrial, transportation, LNG, and major capital projects throughout Canada and internationally. We are currently building a network of project professionals across Canada in anticipation of upcoming opportunities and require assistance managing our growing candidate pipeline. Project Overview We have received over 60 applications from experienced professionals across Canada for the following disciplines: Project Managers Project Planner / Schedulers Contract Administrators Quantity Surveyors Cost Managers / Cost Engineers We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator or Talent Acquisition Specialist to help organize, screen, engage, and manage these candidates through an initial qualification process. This is initially a project-based engagement with strong potential for ongoing work as CDI Experts Vancouver continues to expand. Scope of Work The successful freelancer will assist with: Candidate Management Review and organize approximately 60+ resumes Categorize candidates by discipline Build and maintain a candidate tracking database Update candidate status throughout the recruitment process Candidate Outreach Prepare and send professional outreach emails Re-engage candidates who applied over the past several weeks Maintain professional communication throughout the process Screening Process Distribute screening questionnaires Track responses Follow up with non-responsive candidates Verify: Current availability Geographic location Work authorization status Salary / rate expectations Travel willingness Interest level Candidate Evaluation Prepare candidate summary sheets Assist with candidate ranking and prioritization Highlight strong and weak candidates for management review Interview Coordination Schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates Coordinate calendars and meeting invitations Maintain interview records Desired Experience We are looking for someone with experience in: Recruitment Coordination Talent Acquisition HR Administration Candidate Screening Recruitment Operations Preference will be given to candidates with experience recruiting within: Construction Engineering Project Management Infrastructure Mining Industrial Projects Energy Consulting Experience working with professional and technical candidates is highly desirable. Skills Required Excellent written and verbal English Strong organizational skills Experience managing candidate databases and spreadsheets Attention to detail Professional communication skills Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets proficiency Experience with recruitment workflows and candidate tracking Deliverables At completion of the initial project, we expect: Candidate Tracking Database Candidate Status Report Completed Screening Questionnaire Responses Shortlist by Role Candidate Ranking Matrix Interview Schedule for Recommended Candidates Engagement Details Estimated Effort: 15–25 hours initially Hourly Budget: CAD $20–30/hour (depending on experience) Location: Remote Potential for Ongoing Work: Yes Please include a brief summary of your recruitment experience and indicate whether you have previously worked with construction, engineering, infrastructure, project management, or consulting professionals.
