Recruitment Specialist for Childcare Staffing Company (Fully Remote)

We're looking for an an enthusiastic and resourceful Recruitment Specialist to help us will build and maintain our strong caregiver community here at Smart Sitting. This is a trusted advisor role, not a customer service role. Our team will count on you for your judgment and expertise as you guide caregivers through our onboarding process to ensure they are matched with programs where they will find success. The Recruitment Specialist will: -Review, interview, and vet prospective caregivers; maintain clear, accurate candidate records. -Source candidates by posting jobs and contributing to online communities. -Conduct thorough consultation calls over Zoom on video, one-on-one and in groups. -Build relationships with high-quality caregivers and support a strong, reliable Smart Sitting community. -Help caregivers clarify their needs, schedules, preferences, and deal-breakers. -Make thoughtful program recommendations and caregivers through the onboarding process. -Monitor caregiver availability, family demand, and potential gaps in the community. -Communicate proactively, ensuring a warm and professional experience. -Maintain Smart Sitting’s standards for safety, reliability, responsiveness, and quality. -Write customized job descriptions depending on the time of year and positions we are seeing. -Communicate regularly with program leaders about incoming candidates and process improvements. -Work closely with the compliance team to ensure candidates successfully complete onboarding. The Ideal Candidate: -You’re an excellent communicator with fluent written and spoken English -You’re reliable, professional, detail oriented, and organized -You’re tech-savvy and comfortable managing multiple logins and platforms -You have experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Ring Central, or similar platforms. -You’re available Monday–Friday from 9AM-5PM EST -You thrive in a remote work setting and love contributing to a collaborative team -You have experience in a role where you are in community with other team members. -You have familiarity with working for US-based companies or clients -You have a natural ability to read people and adjust your communication in order to connect with them If you'd like to apply, in your cover letter, please tell us: 1.
