We're growing on Reddit the legitimate way: by genuinely participating in communities and being helpful, not by spamming or self-promoting. We're expanding our Reddit team and want people who actually understand Reddit culture. About the role We're hiring a Reddit Research Assistant to find relevant subreddits, study top-performing posts, spot trends, and collect customer pain points. You'll research communities around job searching, recruiting, AI tools, college students, software engineering, career advice, and workplace frustration. Your output helps our team create better Reddit-native content. What you'll do - Find relevant subreddits for our audience - Study subreddit rules and tone - Analyze top posts from the past year - Identify common pain points and complaints - Track competitor mentions - Collect examples of high-performing post formats - Build a subreddit database - Recommend which communities fit each content angle Research categories: Job search; recruiting; career advice; software engineering hiring; college students; AI tools; workplace frustration; take-home assignments; remote work; hiring trends What we're looking for - Strong Reddit research skills - Good judgment on which communities are worth targeting - Strong written English - Clean, organized Google Sheets - Able to summarize findings clearly What you'll deliver - Subreddit research sheet - Weekly list of top-performing posts - Weekly trend report - Competitor mention report - Pain-point summary - Suggested post angles Hours: 10-15 hours/week Pay: $3/hour USD To apply: Please answer the 5 screening questions below in your proposal.
