Reddit Strategist – Travel Agency

We are seeking a creative and strategic Reddit Strategist to lead our Reddit presence, community engagement, and organic growth efforts. Our travel agency specializes in destination weddings, group travel, and personalized vacations, and we are looking for someone who understands Reddit culture and can authentically position our brand within relevant communities. We are looking for someone to develop and help execute a Reddit strategy over the next 1–2 months while also training one of our internal team members on how to effectively engage with Reddit communities. Long-term, we would like to continue with regular monthly check-ins to review performance, refine strategy, and identify new growth opportunities. Responsibilities - Develop and execute a Reddit growth and engagement strategy - Identify relevant subreddits related to destination weddings and group travel - Create engaging Reddit posts, discussion topics, and comment strategies aligned with Reddit culture and community guidelines - Train one of our team members to effectively monitor conversations and engage authentically with Reddit communities, while building trust and brand awareness - Research trending travel discussions, viral content opportunities, and audience interests - Track engagement, post performance, and subreddit growth opportunities - Collaborate with the team on destination wedding campaigns, group travel promotions, and vacation-related marketing initiatives Qualifications - Proven experience managing Reddit accounts, communities, or organic Reddit marketing campaigns - Strong understanding of Reddit culture, etiquette, and engagement strategies - Excellent written communication and storytelling skills - Ability to create conversational, non-promotional content that resonates with Reddit audiences - Strong research and organizational skills - Passion for travel, social media, and digital marketing Preferred - Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or wedding marketing - Experience growing brand visibility organically through Reddit - Familiarity with Reddit analytics and moderation tools Compensation We are looking to begin with a fixed-fee project covering the initial 1–2 month engagement, which will include strategy development, implementation support, and training for our internal team member. After the initial setup phase, we would ideally continue with ongoing monthly consulting and strategy check-ins to support long-term growth and optimization.
