Redesign Boutique Healthcare Wordpress Website

We are looking for an experienced WordPress designer/developer to redesign the website for our specialty physical therapy practice. We are a private practice specializing in pelvic health for women, men, children, pregnancy/postpartum care, fertility support, lymphedema, cancer rehabilitation, and LGBTQ+ care. Our goal is to create a warm, premium, conversion-focused website that immediately builds trust and encourages visitors to request an appointment. Project Goals Create a modern, boutique healthcare website with a high-end feel. Customize a premium WordPress framework/theme (we do not need a fully custom theme). The final website should not look or feel like a template. Use our existing logo and brand colors. Build primarily around our own professional photography (minimal or no stock photography). Design should feel welcoming and inclusive to women, men, parents, and LGBTQ+ patients. SEO & Website Migration Maintaining and improving our current search rankings is extremely important. The project should include: Proper redirects for all renamed or removed pages On-page SEO for every page Location-focused optimization for Birmingham, Hoover, and surrounding communities Consistent business information (Name, Address, Phone) Local SEO best practices Structured data/schema (Local Business, healthcare/provider, reviews, FAQs where appropriate) Optimized page titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, and image alt text XML sitemap and Google Search Console configuration Careful migration to preserve existing SEO value Performance & Accessibility The finished website should be: Mobile-first and fully responsive Fast-loading (goal of 90+ PageSpeed performance if reasonably achievable) Accessibility-conscious (WCAG best practices) Secure with SSL, backups, and standard WordPress security hardening Content We will provide: All written website copy Provider bios Service descriptions Images and photography Blog content We are looking for someone to organize, format, and present our content beautifully—not a copywriter.
