Regulatory Research Associate
Worldwide
Company Overview Archer is building a global, structured view of regulatory content across the industries we serve, powering regulatory change management for our customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Research Associate to join our content intelligence team and help us scale and operationalize that view. About the Position This is a research-driven role at the intersection of law, policy, and technology. You will investigate regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions and sectors, then translate that research into structured, usable content on our proprietary platform. Your responsibilities will include: -Conducting in-depth regulatory and legal research across multiple industries and jurisdictions. -Reading and interpreting primary regulatory texts, proposed rules, and legislative tracking sources. -Synthesizing regulatory requirements into structured content models organized by industry and theme. -Developing and maintaining regulatory taxonomies that define and organize compliance concepts. -Designing and tuning advanced search queries that surface relevant regulatory documents with precision. -Building and refining alerts that flag new and amended regulations for the areas you cover. -Validating findings against secondary sources such as legal analysis, industry guidance, and regulator commentary. -Identifying coverage gaps through structured research and maintaining a prioritized content backlog. -Mapping how regulatory changes cascade across sectors and geographies, and collaborating on new content features. About You -This role is ideal for people passionate about regulatory research and how technology scales it, including: -Working professionals with experience in legal, regulatory compliance, RegTech, LegalTech, or policy. -Recent graduates or advanced students (JD (or equivalent), LLM, Policy) with a keen interest in regulatory technology. -Candidates comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and sectors at once. Key Qualifications -1–3 years of research or practical experience in a legal, regulatory, compliance, or policy setting. -Strong research instincts and the ability to go straight to primary sources rather than rely on summaries. -A structured, methodical approach to synthesizing complex material into clear, usable content. -Strong attention to detail and excellent research and writing skills. -Comfort with data and search logic, and the ability to draw actionable insight from large volumes of text. -Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. What We Offer -A dynamic, supportive environment at the forefront of regulatory technology. -Opportunities for professional growth in a rapidly evolving field. -Competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements. -A chance to make a significant impact on how organizations manage regulatory change.
