Release Manager / Rollout Manager for Business Management Software

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager / Rollout Manager to oversee the deployment and release cycles for OperrWork, a cloud-based business management software focused on labor law compliance, productivity, and operational oversight. You will collaborate with our development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless, high-quality software releases that enhance our platform’s functionality, including features like timekeeping, HR tools, CRM, and compliance modules. This remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience managing complex software deployments in a compliance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute release schedules for OperrWork’s web and mobile platforms, ensuring timely and error-free deployments. Develop and maintain release plans, timelines, and documentation, including version control and change logs. Work closely with developers, QA testers, and DevOps to ensure code readiness and compliance with labor law and operational standards. Identify and mitigate risks during rollouts, including developing rollback strategies. Ensure releases align with OperrWork’s focus on compliance (e.g., accurate timekeeping, overtime tracking, jobreport and laborlaw compliance) and productivity features. Communicate release progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, including non-technical team members. Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes, supporting OperrWork’s legal protection features. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a Release Manager, Rollout Manager, or similar role in software deployment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple releases concurrently. Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with software platforms focused on HR, payroll, or compliance (e.g., timekeeping, overtime management). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing remote teams.
