We're looking for an experienced *Sales Development Representative (SDR)* to become an extension of our business and help drive our growth across *Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand*. This is an *ongoing remote role* with the opportunity to become a valued member of our team. --- # About the Role This is *not* a call centre or script-reading role. We're looking for an experienced corporate SDR who enjoys speaking with senior executives and uncovering genuine business opportunities. You'll engage with CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasury Managers, Financial Controllers, CEOs, Managing Directors and Business Owners to identify businesses that could benefit from our independent treasury and foreign exchange advisory services. You'll work directly with our Directors and Sales Leadership Team using HubSpot CRM and industry-leading sales intelligence platforms. --- # Primary Markets Your primary focus will be engaging corporate businesses across: • Singapore • Hong Kong • Australia • New Zealand You'll identify businesses with international payments, foreign exchange exposure and treasury requirements, build relationships with senior decision-makers and create qualified sales opportunities. --- # Languages ### Essential • Fluent English • Fluent Mandarin ### Highly Desirable • Cantonese • Hokkien The ability to communicate with prospects in their preferred language is a significant advantage. --- # Your Responsibilities ## Corporate Business Development • Cold call prospective corporate clients • Prospect new business opportunities • Build relationships with senior executives • Qualify opportunities • Book meetings for our Directors • Conduct LinkedIn outreach • Send personalised email campaigns • Manage follow-up campaigns • Handle objections professionally • Develop qualified sales opportunities --- ## HubSpot CRM Working directly inside HubSpot you will: • Manage assigned prospect lists • Update company and contact records • Log calls, emails and meeting notes • Create follow-up tasks • Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline • Schedule meetings into our calendars • Maintain CRM integrity and data quality --- ## Prospect Research & Sales Intelligence You'll utilise: • HubSpot CRM • Apollo.io • ZoomInfo • Firmable • LinkedIn Sales Navigator Responsibilities include: • Identifying target companies • Finding decision-makers • Enriching prospect information • Building targeted prospect lists • Maintaining accurate CRM data --- # Our Ideal Clients You'll primarily engage businesses that: • Have annual foreign exchange (FX) turnover of *AUD $10 million or more* (or local currency equivalent). • Make regular international payments and/or receive international funds. • Have exposure to one or more foreign currencies. • Use banks or specialist foreign exchange providers. • May benefit from improved FX pricing, increased hedging facilities or independent treasury advice. Target industries include: • Manufacturing • Importers • Exporters • Agriculture • Food & Beverage • Logistics & Supply Chain • Mining & Resources • Metals Recycling • Forestry & Timber • Wholesale Distribution • Private Equity • Family Offices --- # Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured against clear activity and performance targets. ## Daily KPIs • Minimum *100 outbound calls* per day. • Minimum *20 personalised email touchpoints* per day. • Minimum *10 LinkedIn outreach activities* per day. • Maintain *100% CRM accuracy*. • Record all calls, emails, notes and follow-up activities in HubSpot. • Maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence. ## Weekly KPIs • Minimum *25 meaningful conversations* with decision-makers. • Minimum *5 qualified meetings booked*. • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities. • Attend weekly sales meetings. • Share market feedback and customer insights. ## Monthly KPIs • Minimum *20 qualified meetings booked*. • Generate qualified opportunities aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile. • Maintain CRM integrity and pipeline hygiene. • Consistently achieve agreed activity targets. *Meeting quality will always take priority over meeting quantity. An SDR who books fewer, highly qualified meetings that convert into opportunities will be considered more successful than an SDR who books a high volume of unqualified appointments.* --- # What is a Qualified Meeting? A *Qualified Meeting* is a confirmed meeting booked with a company that meets *all* of the following qualification criteria. ## Company Qualification The company should: • Have an estimated annual foreign exchange (FX) turnover of *AUD $10 million or more* (or local currency equivalent). • Have regular international payments and/or receipts resulting in foreign exchange exposure. • Be willing to discuss their current foreign exchange arrangements and treasury processes. ## Decision-Maker Qualification The meeting should be booked with one of the following: • Chief Financial Officer (CFO) • Finance Director • Treasury Manager • Financial Controller • Chief Executive Officer (CEO) • Managing Director • Business Owner ## Discovery Requirements Before booking the meeting, you should identify and record the following information in HubSpot: • Estimated annual foreign exchange (FX) turnover. • Current FX provider(s) (bank or specialist FX provider). • Whether the business currently hedges its foreign exchange exposure. • If they do hedge, what products they currently use (e.g. Spot, Forward Contracts, FX Options or Structured Hedging Solutions). • Any challenges with their current provider, including pricing, service, execution, technology, credit facilities or hedging capability. • Whether they are open to an independent review of their current foreign exchange and treasury arrangements. ## Meeting Outcome A qualified meeting is one where: • The company meets our Ideal Customer Profile. • The qualification criteria have been completed and accurately recorded in HubSpot. • The prospect has expressed genuine interest in exploring how we may be able to improve their current FX pricing, treasury strategy, hedging capability or provider relationships. • A mutually agreed meeting has been accepted and scheduled in our calendar with the appropriate decision-maker. *Our objective is quality over quantity.
