Remote Bookkeeper (Malaysia-Based) – Singapore GST Submission

.We are a Singapore-registered business looking for an independent, detail-oriented freelance bookkeeper based in Malaysia to manage our monthly accounts and handle quarterly GST submissions.Our operations are straightforward, with a low transaction volume and zero multi-currency complexity.Scope of Work:Monthly Bookkeeping: Process and reconcile approximately 50 transactions per month using cloud accounting software.Currency: All transactions are strictly in SGD.GST Management: Properly track, code, and reconcile Singapore’s 9% GST on all relevant transactions.Tax Filing: Prepare the quarterly IRAS GST F5 Return draft and coordinate its submission to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).Financial Reporting: Provide a basic profit & loss statement and balance sheet at the end of each month/quarter.Requirements:Must be an independent freelancer based in Malaysia.Proven experience with Singapore accounting standards, IRAS guidelines, and the 9% GST framework.Active certification or deep proficiency in [Xero Singapore] / [QuickBooks Online Singapore] (Note: Update with your preferred software).Excellent written communication skills and responsiveness during standard Singapore business hours.High commitment to data security and confidentiality.Project Type & Budget:This is an ongoing, part-time monthly contract. We prefer a Fixed Monthly Retainer structure. Please submit your monthly rate proposal based on a volume of 50 transactions and quarterly GST filing.
