Remote Customer Service Phone Agent for Self Storage (US Eastern, Weekends, Latin America)

We run a portfolio of self storage facilities in Michigan and need a reliable remote customer service rep to answer inbound phone calls, including weekends. You are often the first voice a customer hears, so a warm, clear, professional phone manner is the job. This role is staggered with another virtual assistant on our team based in El Salvador, so you share coverage and work as a small team, not solo. What you will do: - Answer inbound calls promptly during scheduled hours, US Eastern time - Cover weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of the schedule - Quote unit sizes, availability, and current rates - Walk prospects through reserving or moving into a unit - Handle billing, gate access, and general account questions - Log every call and update customer records in our software - Follow up on missed calls and voicemails the same day - Route anything you cannot resolve to the right person What we are looking for: - Fluent, clear spoken English with a friendly, professional phone voice and a neutral accent - Reliable, including weekend coverage, on US Eastern time - Comfortable on the phone all day and calm with frustrated callers - Quick to learn our property management and CRM tools (we train; you should be tech comfortable) - Organized and accurate with notes and data entry - Stable internet, a quiet space to take calls, and a quality headset Location: We prefer candidates in Latin America, El Salvador especially, but we are open to strong applicants across Latin America with clear, neutral English. Nice to have: - Self storage, property management, call center, or front desk experience - Bilingual English and Spanish Hours and pay: - Ongoing, long term role with weekend coverage - Staggered schedule with another El Salvador based assistant - Starts at 6 USD per hour with a paid trial period - Pay increases based on performance. Strong reps earn more hours and a higher rate over time REQUIRED TO APPLY: VOICE SAMPLE We need to hear you before we hire. With your application, attach a short recording (about 30 to 60 seconds) of you handling a sample storage call. Pretend a customer is calling to ask whether you have a 10x10 unit available and what it costs. Greet them, answer warmly, and walk them through reserving it.
