[Job Description] We are an e-commerce brand selling home appliances on Amazon and our own website. As our business grows, we are looking for a part-time customer service agent to support our US customers. This is a remote, hourly contract. We’re looking for someone reliable, patient, and able to handle product-related inquiries with a focus on quality over quantity. [Scope of Work] *Handle inbound customer calls via brand hotline (primary channel) *Respond to customer emails and live chat inquiries *Troubleshoot product-related issues (product training will be provided) *Document customer pain points and common issues for internal knowledge base improvement This is NOT a sales job. [Requirements] *Language: English – clear pronunciation, professional communication *Experience: Minimum 1 year in customer service, preferably with technical support or physical product troubleshooting *Channels: Phone (primary), Email, Live Chat *Availability: Weekdays (Monday–Friday), between 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM PDT/PST (US business hours) [We Expect You To] *Answer calls promptly (within a few rings) *Respond to emails and chat messages within 24 hours *Communicate professionally and patiently, especially when handling product-related issues *Document cases clearly and escalate when necessary *Take ownership of customer issues and follow through [Why Work With Us] *100% remote *Flexible part-time schedule within US business hours *Clear processes and structured onboarding *Opportunity for long-term engagement as our business grows Please submit your proposal along with: Your customer service experience Any experience with technical troubleshooting or physical products Your availability and expected hourly rate
