Remote Data Entry Specialist – Medical Bill Processing (Direct Filevine Entry)

We are a US-based personal injury law firm looking for a meticulous, tech-savvy Data Entry Specialist to process and log medical bills directly into our case management system, Filevine. This is an ongoing, long-term project with a fluctuating weekly workload. On average, you can expect about 10 hours of work per week, but this goes in waves—some weeks may be less than 5 hours, while peak weeks can exceed 20 hours. You will join our remote team working on a flexible, hourly basis. You set your hours and work when it fits your schedule. What You Will Do: Analyze: Review scanned medical bills, liens, and itemized statements to locate specific data points (provider names, treatment dates, billing codes, total charges). Data Entry: Log into our Filevine (FV) system and accurately input the billing data directly into the corresponding client files. Audit: Ensure 100% accuracy between the physical document and the system entry. You will also be responsible for finding and eliminating duplicates. Requirements: High Computer Literacy: Ability to learn and navigate Filevine efficiently (prior Filevine experience is a plus, but not required). Medical Document Familiarity: You must be comfortable reading US medical billing layouts and easily locating key figures on complex bills. Strong Attention to Detail: Mistakes cost time and money.
