Family Law Paralegal – New York & California (Remote) International family law firm seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal with strong knowledge of New York and/or California family law procedures. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, proactive, professional in client communications, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment involving domestic and international family law matters. Responsibilities include: Drafting uncontested divorce packages Preparing default divorce packages Drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, and discovery responses Assisting with court filings and service documents Organizing and maintaining client files Managing deadlines and follow-ups Assisting attorney with case management and administrative tasks Working with clients to obtain required documents and information Required Qualifications: Prior experience in New York and/or California family law Familiarity with uncontested and default divorce procedures Ability to draft legal documents with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written English and professional communication skills Experience using: Clio Dropbox Microsoft Word/PDF editing Ability to follow instructions precisely and meet deadlines.
