Remote FortiVoice Engineer

We are looking for an experienced FortiVoice / Fortinet Voice Engineer to support a professional VoIP implementation project. The engineer will assist with FortiVoice configuration, phone provisioning, SIP trunk coordination, call-flow setup, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and remote cutover support. The work will be performed remotely in coordination with our internal project team and onsite field resources. We are looking for someone who has real hands-on FortiVoice experience and can work independently in a structured project environment. Responsibilities Configure and support FortiVoice Enterprise environments. Assist with FortiVoice VM deployment and system configuration. Configure users, extensions, voicemail, dial plans, auto attendants, hunt groups, ring groups, schedules, and call routing. Create and validate FortiFone provisioning templates. Support phone registration and endpoint troubleshooting. Assist with SIP trunk, DID, number-porting, and E911 coordination. Work with onsite technicians during staging, testing, and cutover activities. Troubleshoot call routing, provisioning, registration, and voice-quality issues. Prepare configuration notes, test results, and handover documentation. Coordinate with vendor support when escalation is required. Required Skills Hands-on experience with FortiVoice Enterprise. Experience with FortiVoice VM-based deployments. Experience configuring FortiFone devices and provisioning templates. Strong understanding of SIP trunks, DIDs, voicemail, dial plans, and call routing. Knowledge of VoIP networking, including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, and firewall considerations. Ability to troubleshoot FortiVoice, SIP, and endpoint-registration issues. Strong documentation and communication skills. Availability to support meetings and cutover activities during US business hours. Preferred Qualifications Fortinet or FortiVoice certification. Experience with multi-site VoIP deployments. Experience migrating from legacy phone systems. Experience working with onsite smart-hands or field-services teams. Screening Questions How many FortiVoice projects have you worked on?
