Location: Remote Compensation: USD $1,500/month Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate Remote Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and administrative teams. This role is ideal for candidates with healthcare experience who are comfortable interacting with patients, providers, and healthcare systems remotely. Responsibilities: Answer patient calls and messages professionally Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments Conduct appointment reminders and follow-up outreach Assist patients with forms, referrals, and general inquiries Prepare patient charts and update medical records Document patient interactions within EMR/EHR systems Coordinate referrals, specialist appointments, and follow-up care Manage provider calendars and appointment schedules Verify insurance information when applicable Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant, healthcare administrative, or related clinical support experience Excellent written and spoken English Experience using EMR/EHR systems Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification Experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare providers Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements Telehealth experience Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and referral management Technical Requirements Dedicated computer with webcam and headset Reliable internet connection Quiet, professional workspace Availability during U.S. business hours What We're Looking For Candidates who demonstrate professionalism, empathy, confidentiality, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an excellent patient experience.
