Remote Operations Director / Implementer, Multifamily Property Management (Full-Time)

We are a premier, rapidly expanding multifamily property management and real estate investment firm in the Midwest. We own and manage 700 plus apartment units and we are growing fast. We hold high standards on every property, and we are building the leadership bench to scale. THE ROLE We have a visionary. We need an implementer. As our remote Operations Director, you are the person who likes to get things done. You run the team and the systems from a distance, lead daily check-ins, own approvals and SOPs, and keep our managers accountable, while a local team handles anything physically on-site. We are not looking for another one-person superstar. We are looking for someone who builds SOPs and training so the team runs without heroics. WHAT YOU WILL OWN The Team: supervise property managers and maintenance over daily check-ins, and be the first call so the small things stop reaching the owner. The Systems: build SOPs and training so the team runs without heroics. The Approvals: leases and renewal exceptions, with good judgment. The Oversight: track property status and performance remotely. Direct managers or maintenance to walk a property on a recorded video or live call, and coordinate a local point person for walkthroughs a few times a month. The Costs: reduce costs, negotiate, schedule quotes, and keep vendors accountable. The People Ops: timekeeping, reviews, recognition, hiring, onboarding, and discipline.
