Remote Litigation Paralegal (Real Estate Litigation) Location: Remote Hours: 30–40 hours per week Schedule: Must be available during Pacific Time business hours, Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm (PST) Rate: $20/hour Engagement: Long-term contract (Upwork) About Us Gomez Law, APC is a fast-growing California real estate litigation firm representing clients in disputes involving banks, fraud, and property-related matters. We operate in a high-accountability, fast-paced environment focused on delivering strong legal results. We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal who can work independently and support attorneys in active civil litigation matters. Looking for candidates who have worked with a California litigation firm and have been with the same firm for at least one full year. Responsibilities -Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery -Calculate and calendar civil litigation deadlines -Manage attorney calendars (hearings, depositions, mediation, trial) -E-file in California state and federal courts -Conduct legal research -Organize case files and assist with trial preparation -Track billable time and assist with case management Requirements -2+ years of civil litigation experience -Prior experience working with U.S.-based law firms (required) -Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and court deadlines -Experience drafting litigation documents with minimal supervision -Ability to work independently in a remote environment -Strong organizational and communication skills -Experience working with legal software preferred (Clio, Westlaw) -Spanish speaking is a plus We are looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to integrate into a fast-moving litigation team.
