Remote Part-Time Bilingual English/Spanish Intake & Legal Assistant — Texas Estate Planning Law Firm

Gasper Law is a Texas estate planning law firm looking for a remote part-time bilingual English/Spanish intake and legal assistant to help support potential clients and keep our intake process organized. This role is client-facing. The right person should be warm, calm, detail-oriented, and comfortable speaking with people who may be overwhelmed, grieving, planning for the future, or unsure where to begin. This is not a high-pressure sales role. The goal is to help potential clients feel comfortable, gather accurate information, schedule consultations, document notes clearly, and know when to escalate questions to the attorney. Responsibilities may include: Answering or returning calls from potential clients in English and Spanish Helping potential clients schedule a Peace of Mind Planning Session Gathering basic intake information Documenting notes clearly in our CRM Following up with potential clients by phone, email, or text Helping Spanish-speaking callers understand the scheduling and intake process Translating or relaying client communication when appropriate Escalating legal questions to the attorney Supporting client communication and administrative follow-up Helping keep intake workflows organized Important boundaries: You will not give legal advice You will not explain legal strategy You will not promise outcomes, prices, timelines, or document recommendations unless specifically instructed Legal questions must be escalated to the attorney Confidentiality and careful documentation are essential Ideal qualifications: Fluent English and Spanish Prior legal intake, legal assistant, receptionist, or client service experience Strong phone presence Warm, professional communication style Comfortable with CRM systems and remote work tools Detail-oriented and reliable Comfortable working part-time on a stable schedule Estate planning experience is a plus but not required We are based in Texas, so availability during U.S. Central Time business hours is important.
