About Us We are a growing commercial sign company based in the Chicago area. We design, manufacture, permit, and install custom signage for businesses of all sizes. We are looking for a motivated Remote Project Manager / Virtual Assistant who wants to build a long-term career—not just complete tasks. This is a work-from-home position with significant opportunities for professional growth, increased responsibility, and performance-based commissions. You will help manage customer projects from the moment a new lead is received, assisting through qualification, estimating, project coordination, production, installation, and final completion to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include: * Coordinate sign projects from start to finish. * Communicate with customers via phone, email, and text. * Coordinate with internal team members, designers, production staff, installers, and subcontractors. * Schedule installations and monitor project timelines. * Follow up on outstanding items to keep projects moving. * Order materials and coordinate with vendors when needed. * Maintain accurate project records in our CRM and project management software. * Assist customers with questions regarding their signage projects. * Learn different sign products and recommend appropriate solutions based on customer needs. * Ensure every project is completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule. ⸻ Experience We’re Looking For Sign industry experience is a major advantage, including experience with: * Channel letters * Light box signs * Monument signs * Window graphics * Wall graphics * ADA signs * Interior office signage * Aluminum composite signs * Acrylic signs * Banners * Vinyl graphics If you don’t have direct sign experience, that’s okay. We are also interested in candidates with experience in industries such as: * Construction * Architecture * Interior design * Print production * Manufacturing * Project coordination * Commercial graphics * Building materials * Permit coordination The right candidate should be able to learn quickly and become knowledgeable about: * Sign materials * Manufacturing processes * Installation methods * Reading storefronts and recommending the most appropriate signage * Working with municipalities, vendors, installers, and customers ⸻ The Mindset We Value We’re not simply hiring someone to complete tasks.
