Remote Traffic Engineer (Bilingual English/Spanish) – US Infrastructure Projects

Azierta LLC is a fast-growing engineering and infrastructure consulting firm managing complex transportation and highway contracts in the United States. We are currently scaling our operations for an upcoming, high-profile project pipeline in (USA) and are looking for a talented, long-term remote Traffic Engineer based in LATAM. This is a 100% remote, contract-based position. You will work closely with our Project Managers and senior technical staff to deliver highway capacity analysis, safety studies, and geometric designs aligned with US State DOT standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct traffic impact assessments (TIA) and capacity analysis for highway and intersection corridors. Perform traffic simulation, signal timing optimization, and geometric layout reviews. Draft highly detailed, technical engineering reports and documentation in professional English. Collaborate asynchronously and via quick internal alignment flash meetings utilizing our cloud infrastructure (Trello/OneDrive). Required Qualifications & Technical Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field. Software Proficiencies (Mandatory): Advanced, hands-on experience with Synchro, VISSIM, or HCS (Highway Capacity Software). Standards: Strong understanding or familiarity with US design standards (AASHTO, MUTCD, and state DOT guidelines). Language Matrix (Strictly Required): Fluent / Bilingual English communication skills (C1/C2 level) both written and spoken. (Initial screening will be conducted in English). Location: Must be based in LATAM with availability to overlap at least 2-4 hours with US Eastern Standard Time (EST).
