Clinical Trials Database Researcher (Africa-Focused)

I am looking for a detail-oriented research assistant to search ClinicalTrials.gov and identify actively recruiting clinical trials with study sites in Africa and be able to accurately document findings. Key Responsibilities - Search ClinicalTrials.gov for clinical trials that are actively recruiting - Identify trials that have sites in any African country - Record relevant details for each trial into a spreadsheet Spreadsheet Structure (Required Output) Create and maintain a spreadsheet (Excel), including the following columns: Study Details - NCT Number – Unique ClinicalTrials.gov identifier - Study Title – Official clinical trial title - Study Phase – Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, or Not Applicable - Therapeutic Area / Condition – Disease or indication studied - Intervention Type – Drug, biologic, device, vaccine, or procedure - Intervention Name – Name of investigational product (if available) - Recruitment Status – Recruiting or Not Yet Recruiting - Study Start Date - Estimated Primary Completion Date Sponsor & Contact Information - Sponsor Name – Lead sponsor listed on ClinicalTrials.gov - Sponsor Type – Pharma, Biotech, Academic, CRO, Government - Sponsor Contact Name – Study or sponsor contact person (if listed) - Sponsor Contact Email – Email address from ClinicalTrials.gov - Sponsor Contact Phone – Phone number from ClinicalTrials.gov - Collaborators (if any) – CRO or partner organisations Site & Location Details (Africa Only) - African Countries – Country/countries where the site is located - City / Region – City or region of the study site - Site Name – Hospital, clinic, or research centre - Principal Investigator (if listed) – PI name where available Eligibility & Reference - Eligible Population (Brief) – Short summary of key inclusion criteria - ClinicalTrials.gov URL – Direct link to the study page - Notes – Missing info, multiple sites, or relevant comments Important Instructions - Use only information publicly available on ClinicalTrials.gov - Do not guess or search LinkedIn for missing contact details - If sponsor contact details are not listed, mark as “Not available” - Focus exclusively on African study locations - Accuracy and clean formatting are critical
