Research & Content Assistant

Research & Content Assistant (20–25 Hour Project) I'm an author, filmmaker, and speaker preparing for the launch of my upcoming book and documentary projects. I'm looking for a detail-oriented research assistant to help with a short-term project over the next 4–8 weeks. PLEASE APPLY TO THE JOB VIA UPWORK AND DO NOT REACH OUT TO ME DIRECTLY BEFORE 7/10 WHEN I WILL MAKE A DECISION **Project Budget:** Up to $300 **Hourly Rate:** $12–15/hour **Estimated Time:** Approximately 20–25 total hours ## Project Overview I have three spreadsheets containing approximately 150 organizations, universities, bookstores, literary organizations, and podcasts that I plan to contact about speaking engagements, book events, interviews, and partnerships. Your primary responsibility will be researching and updating these spreadsheets with accurate contact information (name of right person, email, number, website etc.). You'll also help repurpose 50 of MY short-form videos by uploading them from TikTok to YouTube Shorts. Responsibilities 1. Contact Research (Primary Task) Using my existing spreadsheets, you will: * Identify the best contact person (events coordinator, programming director, bookstore events manager, podcast host/producer, etc.) * Find and verify email addresses * Add job titles, websites, and other relevant contact information * Update my Google Sheets accurately * Add notes when a contact cannot be found or requires follow-up Accuracy and speed is important. But this needs to be accurate. 2. YouTube Shorts Uploads (Secondary Task) If time remains after the research is complete, you will help repurpose 50 of MY short-form videos by uploading them from my TikTok to my YouTube Shorts account : * Download 50 of my short videos from TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@ebony.aroundtheworld * Use program to remove watermark * Upload them to my YouTube account as Shorts and schedule 3 videos a week * Use MY existing tiktok titles and descriptions Qualifications I'm looking for someone who has: * Strong internet research skills * Excellent attention to detail * Experience with Google Sheets * Familiarity with YouTube Studio * Clear written English * Reliable communication and the ability to follow instructions Experience supporting authors, speakers, nonprofits, publishers, or podcast outreach is a plus but not required. # To Apply Please include: 1.
