Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help populate missing information for approximately 2,800 UK planning applications. This is primarily a web research and data entry task requiring accuracy, consistency, and the ability to follow a defined process. Responsibilities For each planning application: Filter the spreadsheet by the assigned borough. Open the relevant borough planning portal. Search for the planning application using the application reference number provided. Open the matching application record. Extract and record: Agent Name Applicant Name Direct link to the application page Enter the information into the spreadsheet. Mark records where information cannot be found. Required Skills Strong web research skills Excellent attention to detail Experience with spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) Ability to follow processes accurately Good written English Reliable internet connection Deliverables For each application record, populate: Agent Name Applicant Name Application URL Status (Found / Not Found) Important Accuracy is more important than speed. If multiple records are returned, ensure the application reference matches exactly. Do not guess missing information. Flag any applications where details cannot be located. Training We will provide: Spreadsheet template List of borough planning portals Written instructions Example completed records To Apply Please include: Your hourly rate.
