Research writer: 800-word explainers on philanthropy and science funding - five-piece series

We're building a short glossary of concepts used in science and technology philanthropy. Each entry is a standalone explainer of one idea: what it means, how to apply it, and where it breaks down. It should read like a reference a program officer would use. We need someone to research and write four to five of these, 700 to 900 words each. The terms are things like theory of scale, binding constraints, push versus pull funding mechanisms, and the adoption gap. Each one needs real sourcing: published research, funder case studies, and actual numbers where they exist. Finished entries cite primary sources and published data, not secondary coverage.
