Researcher: Hidden Intersection Accident & Cost Data (Canada)

I need a researcher to compile existing public data and reports on traffic accidents caused by hidden intersections and obstructed sightlines, where a driver turning onto a main road cannot see oncoming traffic due to obstructions blocking their view. Deliverables: (1) annual Canadian accident counts where obstructed view/hidden intersection was a recorded contributing factor, using Transport Canada's National Collision Database; (2) breakdown by province and rural vs urban roads, including severity (fatalities, injuries, property damage only); (3) full economic cost breakdown of these accidents, including insurance payouts, healthcare/medical costs, and costs incurred by municipalities such as first responder/emergency services dispatch costs, and road or signage repair/upgrade costs following accidents. Final deliverable is a sourced 5-10 page written report with charts where possible and links to all original sources. Ideal candidate has experience with government open data, transportation/civil engineering research, municipal budgeting, or insurance industry data analysis.
