Residential CAD Designer needed to Revise Existing Permit Plans

We are seeking an experienced residential CAD designer to revise a previously approved architectural plan set for an existing home renovation project in Chamblee, Georgia. The prior approved plans will be used as the base drawings. The revisions include: • Glass-enclose the existing front porch and show it as conditioned living area • Document an existing covered rear entrance porch • Add and expand a second-floor loft • Add a laundry area and half bathroom within the loft • Extend the second-floor framing over part of the open foyer • Add a guardrail and knee-wall storage access doors • Relocate and slightly angle an existing upper-level beam • Add three kitchen windows • Revise the roof configuration, pitch, and framing • Add right-side shed-roof elements • Update all affected floor plans, framing plans, roof plans, exterior elevations, sections, and square-footage calculations We will provide the previously approved plan set, a detailed revision scope, photographs, and available measurements. The selected designer must review the provided information and identify any missing dimensions or structural information before finalizing the plans. Structural beam sizing, roof engineering, connections, bearing, and load-path requirements will be handled separately by a structural professional. This assignment is for architectural CAD plan development only. Required qualifications: • Experience producing residential permit or construction plan sets in the United States • Strong AutoCAD and architectural drafting experience • Experience with residential additions, second-floor alterations, roof plans, elevations, sections, and framing coordination • Ability to revise an existing approved plan set from PDF or editable CAD files • Ability to provide both a complete PDF plan set and editable CAD source files Please include: 1.
