Residential Interior & Landscape Designer Needed (Material Sourcing + Product Links Required)

We are seeking an experienced residential designer to assist with the final design selections for our personal residence in Southern California. The interior remodel is largely complete, and we are looking for a designer who can help tie everything together with cohesive finish selections, exterior recommendations, and backyard design concepts. This is not a full home redesign. Much of the major construction and renovation work has already been completed interior wise. We need an experienced design professional who can refine the final details, provide recommendations, and source products and materials that are readily available in the United States. The home is a personal residence that will likely be listed for sale in the future. Our goal is to achieve a polished, high-quality, marketable result that appeals to buyers without venturing into ultra-luxury or fully custom selections. We are looking for durable, attractive, and value-conscious recommendations that provide strong visual impact and strong return on investment. We are specifically looking for someone who understands where homeowners actually shop in the United States and can provide direct links to products, materials, fixtures, furnishings, and finishes. Familiarity with major retailers and suppliers is important, along with the ability to source quality products at reasonable price points. Project Scope Interior Design Assistance Review existing remodel selections Recommend cohesive paint colors Accent wall recommendations Shower tile and bathroom finish recommendations Lighting fixture recommendations Hardware and fixture recommendations Finish coordination throughout the home Design guidance to ensure a cohesive overall aesthetic Recommendations that balance quality, resale appeal, and budget Exterior & Landscape Design Assistance Backyard design for approximately 70’ x 30’ space Potential front yard enhancements Hardscape recommendations Outdoor living and entertainment space ideas Planting recommendations appropriate for Southern California Outdoor lighting recommendations Material selections for landscaping features Design concepts that enhance curb appeal and property value Additional Project Information No permitting, engineering, construction documents, or stamped plans are required for this engagement. Photos, videos, measurements, and existing finish selections will be provided. This project is focused on design refinement, finish selections, product sourcing, and practical implementation guidance. Recommendations should prioritize value, practicality, durability, and resale appeal rather than luxury-for-luxury’s-sake selections. We are looking for realistic products and materials that can be purchased and installed without excessive lead times or custom fabrication. Required Deliverables We are looking for practical, actionable deliverables rather than design concepts alone.
