Residential Leasing Closing Coordinator/Leasing Administrator for Real Estate Firm

High volume apartment rental brokerage is seeking a skilled closing coordinator and leasing administrator Core Responsibilities Document Collection & Verification: Gather and audit applications and all supporting documents required for landlord review. Lease Execution: Review and prepare lease agreements, guarantors' documents, and rider addendums to ensure absolute accuracy and compliance with NYC housing regulations and landlord requirements. Fund Processing: Manage and track the collection of move-in funds, including first month’s rent and security deposits, verifying that all payments clear before keys are released. Scheduling: Coordinate lease signings and move-in dates with building management. Brokerage Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between applicants, account managers and landlord and management offices to proactively resolve any discrepancies quickly. Key Requirements & Skills High attention to detail to handle multiple fast-moving rental files simultaneously without errors. Experience utilizing rental management platforms as well as e-signature tools. Strong familiarity with leasing procedures. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to manage customer expectations and demanding landlord requirements.
