Rest API Developer

The ideal person for this role needs to understand microservices and how to move legacy SaaS into microservices/API. We likely need a Senior API/Backend Engineer. Skills needed: Strong experience designing secure, production grade REST APIs in .NET, including authentication, authorization, validation, versioning, documentation, testing and integration with existing applications and data sources. Experience modernizing legacy or monolithic applications, including identifying appropriate service boundaries, separating business logic from legacy interfaces and progressively moving capabilities into maintainable API services and/or microservices. Ability to design reusable APIs that can support multiple consumers, including our SaaS app, customer integrations and Agentic AI system, with strong controls for data isolation, auditing, reliability and controlled execution of business functions.
