Restore Multisite Wordpress Site from .tar file

I have a .tar file (fyi, 100.83 GB) from my old multisite blog. I have a new host with multisite wordpress installed. Your job is to upload the old blogs to my new multisite, making sure links to images and pdfs etc aren't broken. Looking for someone who has _done this before__ Please tell me what the typical problems might be restoring from a .tar file and how you avoid them. I can ask Claude but don't want to spend a week on a job that should take a couple days.
