Meta Ads & GHL Marketing Operations Specialist ## About Us We are a U.S.-based retirement planning firm that teaches free, live retirement education classes throughout the Seattle, Washington area. Our marketing system is already built. Our strategy, messaging, and compliance process already exist. We are looking for someone who enjoys executing, organizing, improving, and maintaining marketing systems that generate measurable results. This is a long-term position with room for growth. If you consistently perform well, you will gradually assume greater responsibility and compensation. # Your Mission Consistently fill our retirement education classes with qualified attendees by using our digital marketing systems. Our classes typically occur: * 1 to 3 times per week * Target attendance: 20 to 30 people per class * Your success will be measured by reliability, organization, execution, continuous improvement, and measurable marketing performance. # Primary Responsibilities ## Meta Advertising Working from our existing marketing strategy, you will: * Build and launch Facebook and Instagram campaigns * Create and manage audiences * Duplicate and modify existing campaigns * Test headlines, copy, images, and videos * Monitor campaigns daily * Pause poor-performing ads * Scale successful campaigns * Track campaign performance * Maintain campaign documentation ## AI Content Production Using modern AI tools, create: * Ad copy * Headlines * Primary text * Static images * Carousel ads * Short AI-generated videos * Captioned videos * Creative variations for testing * Every advertisement must receive compliance approval before publication. ## GoHighLevel (GHL) Maintain and improve our CRM automation. Responsibilities include: * Registration workflows * Email campaigns * SMS reminders * Appointment reminders * Pipeline management * Tags * Workflow improvements * Automation testing * Updating existing campaigns ## Organization Maintain professional organization of all marketing assets. This includes: * Google Drive * Folder structure * Naming conventions * Version control * Google Sheets * Campaign tracking * Creative inventory * Organization is one of the most important parts of this position. ## Weekly Responsibilities Every week you will: * Review campaign performance * Create new creative variations * Update campaign tracking * Improve automations * Organize files * Attend one Zoom meeting * Recommend improvements # Communication Requirements You will work with an American team. You must meet **one** of these requirements. ### Option 1 Comfortably communicate in conversational American English during Zoom meetings. ### OR Option 2 Use voice-to-text software that produces clear, natural American English with little or no editing. We value clarity much more than accent. # Software Experience Preferred experience includes most of the following: * Meta Ads Manager * Facebook Business Suite * GoHighLevel * ChatGPT * Claude * Canva * Google Drive * Google Docs * Google Sheets * Loom * AI image generators * AI video generators Experience in financial services is helpful but not required. We will teach you our industry, our audience, and our compliance requirements. # What Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days, we expect you to: * Generate 30-50 qualified registrations per retirement class * Improve advertising performance * Reduce wasted advertising spend * Keep marketing assets organized * Improve workflow reliability * Deliver accurate weekly reports # What We Value We hire for character first. What improved? ### 8. Describe one campaign mistake you made. How did you correct it? What process did you create to prevent it from happening again? ### 9. How do you organize thousands of marketing files? ### 10. How many hours each week are you available? ### 11. What hourly rate are you requesting? # Stage 2: Live Skills Interview Applicants selected from Stage 1 will be invited to a live Zoom interview. During the interview you will: * Introduce yourself * Share your screen * Walk us through a Meta Ads account you have managed * Demonstrate a GoHighLevel workflow you built or maintained * Show a Google Sheet you created for tracking marketing performance * Explain how you organize marketing assets * Please remove any confidential client information before the interview. After Stage 2, we will select our **Top Three Finalists**. # Stage 3: Paid Finalist Challenge Each of the **three finalists** will receive **$50 USD** to complete the same practical project. You will have several days to complete the assignment. The project will include: * Create one Meta advertisement * Write ad copy * Produce one AI-generated image * Produce one short AI-generated video * Update one GoHighLevel workflow * Organize marketing assets inside Google Drive * Update a campaign tracking spreadsheet * Record a short Loom video explaining your work and the decisions you made This is not a speed test. We are evaluating: * Attention to detail * Organization * Communication * Ability to follow instructions * Quality of work * Initiative * Problem solving * Professionalism # Final Selection After reviewing all three paid projects, we will hire the candidate who demonstrates the strongest combination of: * Execution * Organization * Communication * Coachability * Reliability * Continuous improvement # Signing Bonus The selected candidate will receive: * Standard hourly compensation through Upwork * A **$150 USD signing bonus** after successfully completing their **first 30 days** of employment * The purpose of this bonus is to reward commitment, reliability, and a successful start to our long-term working relationship. # Growth Opportunity This is not a temporary freelance assignment.
