HR Resume & Interview Screener for Christian Church & Preschool

**Title:** HR Resume & Interview Screener for Christian Church & Preschool We are a Christian church and Christian preschool/school looking for an experienced HR or recruiting professional to help screen applicants through Indeed. We need someone who can review resumes, contact applicants, confirm interest and availability, ask basic screening questions, and recommend strong candidates for a face-to-face or virtual interview with our leadership team. Our openings may include preschool staff, childcare workers, school leadership, administrative roles, and church staff positions. Because we are a Christian church and school, we need someone who understands the importance of mission fit, professionalism, warmth, reliability, character, and working well with children, families, and ministry teams. **Responsibilities include:** * Review Indeed applicants and resumes * Contact candidates by message, email, or phone * Confirm interest, availability, and basic qualifications * Screen for experience, communication skills, reliability, and professionalism * Identify candidates who may fit a Christian school/church environment * Send short notes and recommendations on who should move forward * Help coordinate next-step interviews with our team **Ideal candidate:** * Experience in recruiting, HR, resume screening, or candidate outreach * Comfortable using Indeed or similar hiring platforms * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented * Experience with schools, childcare, churches, nonprofits, or ministry hiring is a plus This is a part-time project with the possibility of ongoing work as we continue hiring.
