Retail Compliance Analyst (AI Training)

About the Role We’re building an AI platform that helps businesses understand and navigate complex retail compliance documentation. We’re looking for someone with real-world experience in retail vendor compliance, logistics, or supply chain operations to help train and improve our AI systems. This is a remote, hourly contract position where your expertise will directly influence how accurately AI understands retailer requirements. ⸻ What You’ll Do You’ll review retailer routing guides, compliance manuals, vendor standards, and operational documentation to help create high-quality training data for our AI platform. Typical tasks include: * Reading retailer routing guides and identifying key requirements * Reviewing and correcting AI-generated summaries * Extracting structured information from retailer documentation * Labeling operational and compliance requirements * Identifying conflicting or outdated instructions * Classifying content by topic * Recording confidence levels and edge cases * Providing feedback to improve AI accuracy over time Accuracy and consistency are more important than speed. ⸻ Ideal Background Experience in one or more of the following: * Retail vendor compliance * 3PL or warehouse operations * Transportation or logistics * Supply chain management * Customer compliance * EDI * Retail operations * Inventory or fulfillment You do not need prior AI or machine learning experience. If you’ve spent years interpreting retailer routing guides, compliance manuals, SOPs, or operational documentation, you’ll likely be a strong fit.
