Retail Designer for Store & Event Booth Design

Freelance Retail Designer (3D & Technical Drawings) – Retail Visual Merchandising We are seeking an experienced Freelance Retail Designer to support a major Retail Visual Merchandising pitch for a global beauty brand. This role requires strong creative thinking, technical detailing, and the ability to translate concepts into production-ready drawings. Scope of Work Develop 3D retail concepts for in-store fixtures, podiums, gondolas, event booth and retail environments. Produce accurate technical drawings, elevations, plans and sections for fabrication. Adapt existing design systems across multiple retail formats. Coordinate with our Creative Director and Project Team to meet tight deadlines. Revise artwork based on internal and client feedback. Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in retail, visual merchandising, exhibition or experiential design. Proficient in SketchUp (preferred), AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Enscape/V-Ray is an advantage. Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materials and production feasibility. Able to interpret brand guidelines while maintaining design quality. Portfolio showcasing retail displays, shop-in-shop, pop-ups or merchandising projects is required. Available to work remotely with regular online collaboration and fast turnaround times. Project Duration Approximately 5 months with potential extension based on project requirements. Applicants must include a portfolio and indicate their availability and monthly freelance rate. Experience working on beauty, cosmetics, FMCG or luxury retail brands (e.g. L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, Shiseido, Unilever, P&G, Diageo, Heineken, etc.) will be an advantage.
