Retail Partnerships & Business Development Specialist for Fast-Growing Wellness Brand We’re looking for a highly proactive Retail Partnerships & Business Development Specialist to help expand our fast-growing women’s wellness and lifestyle brand into retail stores, boutiques, pharmacies, distributors, and wholesale accounts across Australia and the USA. IMPORTANT: This is NOT a generic B2B sales, SaaS outbound, or appointment-setting role. We are specifically looking for someone with experience helping PHYSICAL CONSUMER PRODUCTS get placed into retail stores and wholesale channels. You should understand: - how retail buyers think - how wholesale partnerships work - how to identify and contact the right decision makers - how to strategically approach retailers and distributors - and how to build long-term retail relationships A huge part of this role involves: - finding the correct buyers/category managers - using LinkedIn strategically - sourcing accurate contact details - understanding outreach psychology - writing personalized outreach that gets responses - and building organized outreach systems and pipelines You MUST understand: - how to find retail buyers and category managers - how to identify the correct contacts inside retail companies - how retail and wholesale outreach works - how to source business emails/contact information - how to write personalized outreach that doesn’t feel spammy - how to follow up professionally - how to manage outreach pipelines and retailer databases ## About Us We are a fast-growing direct-to-consumer women’s wellness and lifestyle brand with strong branding, premium packaging, highly repeatable products, and a strong emotional connection with our audience. Our products sit within wellness, feminine care, intimacy, and self-care categories. We are building a modern consumer brand with strong retail expansion potential. ## Your Responsibilities - Research and identify potential retailers, distributors, and wholesale partners - Find relevant decision makers (buyers, category managers, retail partnership managers, etc.) - Source contacts through LinkedIn, Apollo, retailer websites, trade shows, databases, and other research methods - Write and send personalized outreach emails/messages - Follow up consistently and professionally - Organize and manage outreach pipelines and retailer databases - Help secure meetings and wholesale opportunities - Assist with retail expansion strategy and partnership development ## Bonus If You Have Experience With - Beauty, wellness, skincare, or lifestyle brands - Sephora, Ulta, Mecca, pharmacy, or boutique retail channels - Shopify and DTC consumer brands - Distributor partnerships - Retail account management - Trade shows and wholesale events - Apollo, Hunter.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator - CRM and outreach systems ## We Are NOT Looking For - Generic cold-call sales reps - Appointment setters with no retail experience - Generic lead generation agencies - Virtual assistants with no wholesale background - SaaS B2B salespeople - People with no experience placing physical products into retail ## Ideal Candidate - Organized and highly proactive - Strong communicator - Understands branding and positioning - Comfortable with outreach and relationship building - Strategic and resourceful - Understands how modern consumer brands grow through retail ## Please Apply With - Relevant retail or wholesale outreach experience - Examples of brands or retailers you’ve worked with - Examples of partnerships or retail accounts you helped secure - Your process for finding and contacting retail buyers - Tools/platforms you’ve used - Your availability and rates Long-term opportunity for the right person.
