Reverse Recruiter (Biotech & Pharmaceutical)

Location: Chicago Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced Reverse Recruiter / Job Search Specialist to support a highly qualified candidate with a PhD in Molecular Biology and Immunology in securing a full-time Scientist role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of helping scientists and life sciences professionals successfully obtain positions in biotech or pharmaceutical companies through strategic job searching, resume optimization, and targeted job applications. Responsibilities: 1. Review and optimize the candidate's resume for Scientist positions. 2. Tailor resumes and cover letters for specific job applications. 3. Optimize the candidate's LinkedIn profile. 4. Research and identify relevant Scientist opportunities in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. 5. Submit tailored job applications on behalf of the candidate. 6. Track submitted applications and maintain an application tracker. 7. Monitor responses and communicate updates regularly. 8. Provide interview preparation guidance and job search recommendations when needed. Requirements: 1. Minimum 5 years of experience in reverse recruiting, career coaching, executive resume writing, talent acquisition, or scientific recruiting. 2. Demonstrated success helping 10–15 or more professionals secure full-time positions in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. 3. Ability to provide examples of previous Scientist or life sciences candidates successfully placed within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. 4. Strong understanding of biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences recruitment. 5. Experience working with PhD-level candidates is highly preferred. 6. Excellent resume writing and communication skills. 7. Familiarity with ATS optimization and LinkedIn best practices. 8. Strong attention to detail and ability to customize every application.
