Title: Revise Storefront Elevation for Retractable Awning and Signage We need an architectural drafter to make a small revision to an existing storefront elevation and section for landlord concept approval. We will provide: Existing architectural storefront drawing A blue markup showing the intended awning location A rough signage mockup “BAR SOLEIL” logo/lettering The awning will be retractable. When closed, the fabric and mechanism roll into a cassette mounted above the storefront transom windows. Scope of work: Front storefront elevation Show a horizontal retractable-awning cassette, assumed to be approximately 7 inches high. Position it at the location indicated in the blue markup: along the lower edge of the sign band, immediately above the transom windows and wood trim. The cassette should extend across the storefront at a visually reasonable width. Show the awning in its closed/retracted position on the front elevation. Add the supplied “BAR SOLEIL” letters within the remaining sign-band area above the cassette. Size and position the letters using proportions similar to the supplied mockup and fitting reasonably within the available space. Storefront section/side elevation Show the cassette at the same mounting location. Show the retractable awning fully extended from the cassette. Use an assumed maximum projection of approximately 8 feet from the storefront. Illustrate the awning with a realistic downward pitch rather than as a completely horizontal surface. Dimension the approximately 7-inch cassette and 8-foot projection. Show the approximate mounting height and clearance at the awning’s outer edge, based on the existing drawing. Coordination Keep the existing storefront design, dimensions, and architectural information unchanged. Please flag any obvious conflict between the proposed cassette location and the existing sign band, brick, wood trim, storefront framing, exterior lights, or signage. Do not assume or design structural attachment details. The final cassette dimensions, attachment method, pitch, and clearances will be confirmed by the awning vendor and architect.
