Revit Designer — Convert 2D CAD to Revit Model + Phased Plans for Vertical Addition

Overview We have an existing residential building documented in 2D CAD and need a skilled Revit designer to (1) build an accurate Revit model from those drawings, and (2) help us develop phased plans for a remodel that adds two stories above an existing roof section. Phase one is likely to use ICF (insulated concrete form) construction. Structural engineering is required, so experience coordinating with — or working as — a structural engineer is a strong plus. Scope of Work Convert our existing 2D CAD (AutoCAD DWG) into an accurate Revit model of current/existing conditions Model the proposed build-out, including the two new stories added over the existing roof area Model phase-one ICF construction with correct wall assemblies, thicknesses, and connection detailing Set up Revit phasing to clearly show existing conditions, each construction phase, and the completed build-out Coordinate the architectural model with structural engineering input (beam/column sizing, load paths, foundation/wall reinforcement) Produce plan sheets — floor plans, elevations, and sections — for existing and proposed conditions Deliverables Native Revit (.rvt) model of existing conditions Native Revit (.rvt) model of the proposed/final design, with ICF assemblies modeled for phase one Phased plan set (existing → phase 1 → phase 2 → final) using Revit's phasing tools PDF exports of all sheets Structural coordination incorporated into the model and sheets Required Skills Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture; Structure a plus) Demonstrated experience converting 2D AutoCAD/DWG drawings into accurate Revit models Hands-on experience with Revit phasing for renovations/additions Experience modeling ICF construction (or strong concrete/structural wall assembly experience) Experience coordinating architectural models with structural engineering Familiarity with multi-story residential construction Clear, responsive communication and ability to flag ambiguities in source drawings To Apply, Please Include A short note on your relevant experience — CAD-to-Revit conversion, phased additions, ICF, and structural coordination Portfolio samples (links or attachments), ideally including a vertical addition or ICF project Whether you provide structural engineering / PE stamping in-house, partner with an engineer, or model only Your estimated hours and timeline Any questions about the scope
