We're looking for a resourceful book lover to track down upcoming romance novel releases. The heart of this role is the research: knowing where to look, digging up titles before they hit everyone's radar, and capturing them accurately. The output is a clean, basic list, so the value you bring is in the thoroughness of your hunting. Qualifications Familiarity with the romance genre and its main sub-genres. Strong, persistent research skills and a knack for finding information that isn't front and center. Attention to detail and accuracy in recording titles and dates. Comfortable working independently and meeting recurring deadlines. Basic spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel). Nice to Have An existing presence in the romance reading community (BookTok, Bookstagram, blogs, or reviewing platforms), which often gives early visibility into upcoming releases. Key Responsibilities Research forthcoming romance titles across publishers, imprints, and self-published authors. Dig through a wide range of sources, including publisher catalogs, Goodreads, NetGalley, Amazon pre-orders, author newsletters, and social media, to surface titles that are easy to miss. Record each title in a basic spreadsheet with a few key fields (title, author, expected release date, and sub-genre). Sort or label entries by sub-genre so the list stays easy to scan. Keep the list current as new titles are announced and release dates shift.
