Romanian Audio Curation & Transcription

Responsibilities: 1.Audio Curation: Search YouTube for Romanian videos published within the last 3 years. Select clips that meet requirements for audio quality, dialogue (two speakers), duration, and domain. Mark and clip 1-minute audio segments. 2.Audio Segmentation & Transcription: Use the utrans platform to segment audio based on sense groups, pauses, or punctuation. Transcribe word by word, standardize filler words, punctuation, and spaces, and label speaker identity and gender. 3.Transcription QC: Proofread transcriptions and verify the accuracy of tags. 4.Text Smoothing: Refine transcriptions in Excel by removing speech errors and repetitions while keeping original punctuation, spaces, and capitalization unchanged. 5.Translation & Polishing: In Excel, translate the original Romanian text into English. Ensure the translation is accurate, natural, and refined, strictly following the original punctuation and formatting. Requirements: 1.Native Romanian speaker with strong proficiency in the language. 2.Familiar with YouTube and a regular user of the platform. 3.Able to work 4–5 hours online per day; those who can commit for one month are preferred. 4.Previous experience in transcription, quality check, or translation is preferred.
