Romanian Language Learning Materials Assistant

Romanian Academy is growing, and I’m looking for the right person to grow with it. I run a Romanian language platform that helps expats and other learners build real confidence in Romanian. Our work includes 1-on-1 lessons, group classes, live and recorded courses, video content, a web platform, and an expanding library of materials. I am looking for a reliable freelance assistant who can help me create high-quality English-language materials for teaching Romanian as a second language, while also supporting some of the day-to-day organizational work behind the business. This is not a generic admin role. It is a hands-on support role for someone who is organized, comfortable with digital tools, and genuinely interested in language teaching, curriculum building, and educational content. Your work may include: Creating lesson materials and exercises in English for learners of Romanian. Turning Romanian grammar topics into clear English explanations, summaries, and PowerPoint presentations. Designing worksheets, slides, and teaching resources in Canva. Helping structure curriculum and lesson sequences for Romanian learners. Finding suitable reading and listening materials for students learning Romanian. Managing or helping manage the email account. Assisting with newsletters and email communication. Organizing schedules, lessons, or content planning. Supporting the development of content that is practical, clear, and culturally relevant. You are likely a strong fit if you: Speak Romanian and English fluently. Can explain Romanian clearly in English. Have experience with language teaching, tutoring, philology, linguistics, education, or curriculum design. Are comfortable using Canva, PowerPoint, Google Docs, email platforms, and similar tools. Can create materials that are clean, logical, and easy for learners to use. Are organized and able to manage recurring tasks reliably. Can work independently, follow directions well, and communicate clearly. This is a freelance role with flexible hours, and the workload may vary from week to week.
